HOW TO CONSULT A DERMATOLOGIST ONLINE IN MADRID
You can make your consultation either by message or by video. Both will be carried out through Docline, a leading telemedicine platform.

You can tell me your doubts about your skin and attach the files you think necessary. I will answer you in less than 48 hours with a rigorous and precise language. At the end, you will receive a report and a prescription.

If you prefer to discuss your problem face to face, you can see me from the comfort of your own home. I can also send you prescriptions if you need them, as well as a report at the end of the consultation.
- If you use the message consultation, the communication will be asynchronous, i.e. you will be able to write to me at your convenience. We will communicate fluently until your doubts are resolved. At the end of the process, you will receive a report and prescriptions.
- If you choose a video consultation, the system will provide you with available appointments. At the appointment you choose, we will talk live until your concerns are resolved. At the end, you will receive a report and prescriptions.
In both systems, I will perform the dermatologic evaluation using photographs or videos. The quality of the video image is not always clear enough to evaluate the characteristics of the skin. WHEN TO SEE A DERMATOLOGIST ONLINE IN MADRID
· Long waiting lists
We live in a time when most health centers have long waiting lists for dermatology care. In many cases, the online dermatology consultation can help you resolve your concerns and receive the appropriate treatment in a timely manner. In many other cases, it will at least serve to guide you on the next steps to take.
· You are traveling
If you are away from home, an online consultation with a dermatologist can be the way to clear your doubts and guide you about your skin problem. If you are in the European Union, your prescription will be valid and you can start your treatment.
· Second opinion
You may have already been seen by your family doctor and another dermatologist, but you still have doubts about the diagnosis and treatment you received. WHEN NOT TO CONSULT A DERMATOLOGIST ONLINE IN MADRID
Online dermatology consultations can be extremely helpful in most cases. An important exception is the evaluation of moles. These always need to be examined by dermoscopy and a photographic assessment will not be sufficient to make a diagnosis.
If you are concerned about a mole or a new blemish, consulting an online dermatologist may not be the first option you should consider.
